Dwight Kimberly Denney was born August 6th, 1958 in Alliston, Ontario and died after a quick and hard battle with lung cancer on October 10th, 2021 in Stewart Valley, Saskatchewan. Dwight passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family and with his dog Ted at his side. Dwight was predeceased by his parents Edgar and Winifred Denney of Baxter, Ontario. He was the youngest of 5 children, he was the brother of Allison Denney, Hugh Denney, Sharon Denney, and Derwyn Denney and Dwight was an Uncle to many.
Dwight was predeceased by his oldest son Robin Stocks and is survived by his 2 daughters Melanie Stocks and Leela Denney and daughter-in-law Cali Fernandez. Dwight was a beautiful soul who touched the hearts and minds of the people that knew him. He was kind, helpful and always ready for a conversation no matter the topic. He was quick with a joke and was quite witty. He found an outlet for his abundance of creativity in his paintings, drawings and sculptures. He was happy in the great outdoors be it walking his dog, gardening, camping or going for a hike. Over the years he lived in numerous small towns in Southwestern Saskatchewan including Ponteix, Pennant, Vanguard, and finally Shaunavon. The calm and quiet of the south west was where he felt at home. He has left a legacy of love with his daughters that will keep their hearts full until they meet again (but not to soon). A private memorial was held by close family on October 11, 2021 in Swift Current, SK. Arrangements entrusted to Warren's Funeral Home.
