Dennis Unrau

Unrau, Dennis Allen, age 69 years, of Swift Current, Saskatchewan passed away on January 11, 2024 at the Cypress Regional Hospital.  The funeral service was held on January 18, 2024 at First United Church with Rev. Annette Taylor officiating.  Dennis is survived by his loving wife of 23 years Barbara Lindsay; many cousins, nieces, and nephews.  He was predeceased by his parents: Cliff Paulson (father) and Blanche Baumann (mother); sister's Sheila Potter, and Cheryl Unrau.  Dennis's favorite hobbies were restoring John Deere tractors especially those that were Model D's and Model R's.  He loved restoring one cylinder engines, playing hockey, and working in Doc's Town on the weekends in the summer at the teahouse.  He loved being involved in the community at Hallonquist especially at the yearly rodeo.  Dennis farmed for 50 years on the homestead with many challenges but good times too.  His favorite highlight was entering the parades to enter his tractors and engines.  He had an amazing creative mind in entering his floats.  Arrangements entrusted to Warren's Funeral Home.  For further information please call 1-306-773-8831 or 1-800-267-6606, or visit our website at www.warrensfuneralhome.com and express your sympathy to family members on the tribute wall.
