Dennis Dale Roosen

December 4, 1942 - April 1, 2025

Dennis was born December 4, 1942 in Swift Current to Wilhelm and Irma Roosen.  He attended school at Stone Cliff, Golden Sheath, Kemmel Hill and Gull Lake.  At age 16 he went to work for Ashphalt Services Ltd. of Saskatoon.  In 1975, along with 3 partners, they bought the Swift Current branch and changed the name to Mobile Paving Ltd.  Dennis retired in 2009 after 50 years.  On February 18, 1967 he married the love of his life Linda (Sue) Peterson.  Their daughter Rhonda was born in 1969, and their son Ryan was born in 1973. 

Dennis was predeceased by his parents, mother and father-in-law Don and Helen Peterson; brother-in-law Leonard Moberg; sister-in-law Evelyn Roosen; many aunts, uncles and friends.  Dennis is survived by his wife of 58 years Sue; daughter Rhonda Kurtz, and children Cody, Dylan, Ethan (Meisie), and Garrett; son Ryan (Brandi), and children Taylor (Dylan) Spetz, Kyle and great grandson Casey Spetz; brother Larry; sister-in-law Sharon Moberg; and many nieces and nephews. 

Dennis will be laid to rest in St. John’s Cemetery in the Antelope District.  A Celebration of Life will be held on June 14, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at the Eagles Hall in Swift Current, Saskatchewan.  Fair Thee Well!
