Delores Cameron Obituary

Delores Anna Cameron, formerly of Tompkins, passed away peacefully on the afternoon of Tuesday, February 4th, at the Gull Lake Special Care Centre, with her family at her side.  Delores was born January 17, 1931 to Eric and Anna Lundgren on Section 19-12-21, in the Tompkins District and she attended Central School.  Delores was predeceased by her parents Eric and Anna Lundgren; her husband Walter Cameron; mother and father-in-law Mary and Duncan Cameron; along with brothers and sisters-in-law Archie and Iris Cameron, Robert Cameron, Richard and Helen Cameron, Doug Cameron, Ester and Nick Tyzuk, and Carolyn Cameron.  She was also predeceased by her brothers Leonard and Bernard Lundgren and sister-in-law Emma Lundgren, and also by grandson Vincent Hughes.  Delores is survived by her children: Gerry-Ann (Percy) Hughes, Dean Lindsay, Karen (Jerry) Biese, Gordon (Rhonda) Cameron, Don (Monica) Cameron, and daughter-in-law Connie Lindsay.  Her grandchildren: Kelvin (Karen) Hughes, April Hughes, Sheila (Stefano) Vani, Dustin Lindsay (Raj Sahni), Brendan (Nadine) Lindsay, Alison Biese (Darren Poncelet), Dallas (Rob) Ogilvy, Shauna (Brian) Pasiciel, Tanille Cameron (Ben Wideman), Amy (Dallas) Lazar, Jenna (Kurri) Darby, Dakota Theise, Trevor Cameron (Kim Fast), Nicole Cameron (Shawn Suitor).  Her great-grandchildren: Cale and Abby Hughes, Shane MacKay (Courtney Allen), Mason MacKay (Caleigh Johnson), Tyler MacKay, Anthony and Daniela Vani, Zach and Hayley Lindsay, Kate and Molly Ogilvy, Owen and Luke Pasiciel, Savannah Lazar, Tao Darby, Kendra Cameron, and Isaac Suitor.  She is also survived by sister-in-law Bernice Lundgren, brother-in-law Marvin Cameron, sister-in-law Doreen Cameron (Joe Kutschall), sister-in-law Gwen Bethel, and numerous nieces and nephews.  There will be a Memorial Tea on Saturday, February 29th at the Tompkins Community Centre.  The tea will be from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. with a short program started at 2:30 p.m.  The family will have a private interment at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the Tompkins Community Centre, General Delivery, Tompkins, SK S0N 2S0; Autumn House Auxiliary in Gull Lake, Box 630, Gull Lake, SK S0N 1A0; or the Gull Lake Special Care Centre Auxiliary, Box 539, Gull Lake, SK S0N 1A0 would be greatly appreciated by the family.  Warren's Funeral Home were entrusted with the arrangements.
