BEXSON: David Russell age 63 of Vanguard, SK passed away on July 19, 2022 peacefully at home surrounded by family. The funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at the Waseca Hall with Pastor Rick officiating. The pianist was Eileen Evens and the eulogy was read by Kate Bexson and Colleen Coleman. The interment service was held at Forest Bank Cemetery and the urn bearer was Dan Bexson. David is survived by his mother Maureen Bexson; his wife Alice Bexson; his daughters Lexi Bexson, Kate Bexson (Curtis Makar) and Laurie Bexson (Joseph Staples); his grandchildren Walker Makar and Evelyn Staples; his siblings Dan (Anne) Bexson, Stewart (Tracey) Bexson, Darcy (Norbert) Steinwand, Colleen (Brian) Coleman and Michelle (Kelly) Wesley. He is predeceased by his father Russell L. Bexson; grandparents Allan and Irene Bexson and Everard and Winnifred Pike; niece Sandra Bexson and nephew Mathew Bexson. David was born in Lloydminster, SK on August 21, 1958 and he was a talented journeyman welder and avid marksmen. David's number one love was his family and would help anyone in need and was a loyal friend. Arrangements entrusted to Warren's Funeral Home.
