Stephens, Dale Garth age 73 years, of Hazlet, Saskatchewan passed away July 11, 2019. Dale was born in Eston, Saskatchewan, on November 28, 1945, and attended school in Wiseton, Saskatchewan. On October 7, 1967 he married Karen Griffin. Dale is survived by his wife Karen; daughter Tracy (Kevin) Stock, and their children Colten, Sidney, Hunter; son Rick (Sheryl) Stephens, and their children Brooklyn, Eric, Brett; sister's Darlene Van Dyk, and Fern Stephens; sister-in-law Nowayme Stephens. He was predeceased by his parents Lorance and Florance Stephens; brother Lorne Stephens; father-in-law John Griffin; mother-in-law Pearl Griffin; sister-in-law Shelley Weedmark. Dale was previously employed with the Bank of Commerce and Credit Unions throughout Saskatchewan, and also the Millie Pasture near Hazlet, Saskatchewan. Dale belonged to a number of clubs including the Lions Club, Kinsmen, Odd Fellows, Toast Masters, Council Member in Cochin, Saskatchewan, Scout Master, Hazlet Boy Scouts, Volunteer Fire member throughout Saskatchewan. He also couched numerous sport teams. Dale was an avid golfer with a real hole in one. He enjoyed fishing, curling, baseball, slowpitch, travelling throughout the world. Yard work, gardening and "puttering" were his new full time jobs. Dale's priorities in life were his family, and friends. He prioritized them and made sure that all of those around had fun, enjoyed themselves, and had activities to do as a group. He was a man who you could count on for help with any community event, or give advise, or just share a story. He will be incredibly missed by all. The Celebration of Life was held at 2:00 p.m. July 16, 2019 from the Hazlet Community Hall with Sandra Benallack officiating. A eulogy was read by Rick Stephens. Organist was Elaine Little, and ushers were Kayla Burns and Allyson McIntosh. Pallbearers were Colten Stock, Sidney Stock, Brooklyn Stephens, Eric Stephens, Brett Stephens, and Hunter Stock.
