Cliff Chan

Chan, Clifford age 77 years, passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2022 at his home in the early morning.  The memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 21, 2022 from the Chapel of Warren's Funeral Home with Rev. Annette Taylor officiating.  The eulogist's were Simon and Nalani.  The interment will be held at Memory Gardens Cemetery; Wilson Yan will be the urnbearer.  Cliff is survived by his wife Betty; sons: Simon, Paul (Tieu-Ahn), and David; grandchildren: Nalani, Jacob, Hunter, Mason, and Madison; sisters: Lena, Susanna, and Connie.  He was predeceased by his parents Tie and Yee Toy Gee Chan; daughter Elizabeth Wilger; brother Tony Chan.  He attended school at St. Patrick.  Cliff married the love of his life, Betty Yan, on December 5, 1967 in Swift Current, Saskatchewan.  He was employed with his grandpa's restaurant back in the late 60's which was known as the Modern Cafe, and later he moved to Wong's Kitchen, and Golden Gardens at the same time, followed by the Rodeway Inn.  Life called him back to work at the Modern for Gus, Louie, and Dena.  Cliff enjoyed playing Mahjong with his friends.  Arrangements entrusted to Warren’s Funeral Home.
