Carl Bischoff Obituary

Carl Christian Bischoff, age 89, of Swift Current, passed away Sunday, May 23, 2021 at 7:20 p.m. The memorial service was held at 2:00 p.m., May 27, 2021 from the White Bear Cemetery. The Readers were Cole Kozyn and Kyndra Bischoff. The interment service was held at White Bear Cemetery. The pallbearers were Taylor Bischoff, Brett Bischoff, Cole Kozyn, Jadon Kozyn and Dallan Kozyn. Carl is survived by his sons, Peter (Maxine) and Keith (Carrie); daughter, Gail (Mike); grandchildren, Chelsea (Ward), Cole (Kayln), Jadon, Dallan, Taylor, Kyndra and Brett; great grandchildren, Brady and Halle;  sisters-in-law, Jean Mervold and Mary Baycroft; brother-in-law, Chris Christensen; and numerous nieces and nephews. Carl was predeceased by his parents, Herman and Karoline Bischoff, and his wife, Dorothy Bischoff. Carl was born in Tuberose, Saskatchewan in 1932, and attended school at Neuve Chappelle and White Bear, SK, and the University of Saskatchewan Vocational Agriculture Program. On June 5, 1936, Carl married Dorothy Baycroft in Saskatoon, SK. In 1957 Carl took over the family farm at White Bear where he remained until moving into Swift Current in 2009. Carl and Dorothy were both very active within the community of White Bear. Carl loved life on the farm. He was extremely hard-working and always willing to lend a hand to anyone who needed it. He loved spending time with his family and enjoyed visiting with friends and neighbours. One of his favourite things to do was play crib with his grandkids. Carl was very kind-hearted and never complained about anything.
