Byron was born in Wadena, SK on Nov 10, 1942 to George & Myrtle Lennox. When his father passed away, Byron took over the family farm at age 20 and after the crop was off, would work away for the winters.
In 1971, Byron made his choice to serve God. Through the years, this life choice he made to accept the Gospel gave him so much comfort and peace, throughout the various experiences of life. He was so thankful for those he met with weekly, throughout the years.
In 1971, Byron also met Angie Websdale in Prince George and in 1972, they were married and moved back to the family farm to raise their family.
After they sold the family farm near Wadena, SK, they moved to Swift Current, SK in 2005. Byron was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease a few years after that.
Byron passed away on June 18, 2024 at the age of 81 years old, after having spent more than 7 years in the care home.
Byron will be fondly remembered and forever missed by his wife Angie, son Trevor (Heather) & son Ryley of Swift Current, SK; daughter Leah of Winnipeg, MB; and daughter Alayne Seru(Malakai) & son Iliame of Lloydminster, AB. His family will remember him for his strong faith in God, his extreme motivation despite growing weakness, his patient endurance with whatever happened in life, for his quiet acceptance of his Parkinson’s disease, for his unconditional love for them. He is also remembered by his sister Maxine Nelson(Lloyd) of Humboldt, SK, and many friends.
