It is with great sadness that the family of Bonnie Haley announces her sudden passing on January 7, 2020 at the age of 63. Bonnie will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 39 years, Dwayne and their children Devin (Megan) and Jenna. She will be sadly missed by her four grandchildren Konnor, Weston, Hunter and Frankie who meant the world to her. Her father Gary Hadden, sisters Shirley (Glen) Smeby and Della (Gary) Hadden and her brother Clayton (Paulette) Hadden, and brother-in-law Doug (Deb) Haley. Bonnie will also be forever remembered by her nieces and nephews and their families, her many cousins and dear friends. Bonnie was predeceased by her mother Irene Hadden, father and mother-in-law Charlie and Maude Haley and brother-in-law Don Haley. Bonnie was born and raised in the Town of Cabri. This is where she went to school, met her husband and raised their children. Bonnie worked various jobs throughout her life, working many years at Francana Minerals. She was currently working at Southwest Terminal where she got to enjoy lots of visits with people of the community and surrounding area. Bonnie was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her grandchildren and embraced every moment spent with them. She especially loved her role as Grandma and wore her "hockey grandma" sweater proudly but not long enough. She had a wonderful personality and a contagious smile. Bonnie always made people around her feel welcome whether it be for a coffee or a long chat. She made friends wherever she went. Bonnie was involved in Brownies, Girl Guides and Ventures growing up and has maintained many of those friendships for over 50 years. She valued her friends like they were family. Bonnie enjoyed going for coffee and would never turn down a shopping trip. Bonnie also enjoyed camping with her family growing up and continued to share the love of the outdoors with her children as they grew. Occasionally she would accompany her husband Dwayne on a day of fishing, and even managed to reel in the biggest fish. She was an active supporter of the rink and local teams, especially the Bulldogs and River Rats. You would have seen her friendly face this season working the gate for them. Bonnie was always willing to help local fundraisers or events. The memorial service was held on January 13, 2020 at the Cabri Legion Hall with Deacon David Hagel officiating.
