Bob Friesen

Bob (Robert) Friesen of Waldeck, Saskatchewan, age 79 years, passed away November 24, 2022.  The memorial service will be held at the Waldeck Hall on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at 2:00 p.m.  All are welcome.  Bob was born on February 2, 1943, he is survived by his wife Tina Friesen; children: Lori Steinley (Kevin), Brad Friesen (Nicole Boisvert), Judy Rouleau (Lynn), Rob Friesen (Heather Clark); grandchildren: Brendan Steinley (Chantel), Aaron Steinley (Allie), Amanda Wieler (Reagan), Jessica Rouleau (Dustin Olmsted); great grandchildren: Eli and Mia Steinley, Miles and Marley Wieler, and River Olmsted.  Bob was a carpenter for most of his life and worked on many buildings and projects around Swift Current and the surrounding area such as Heritage Towers, The Bentley, Golden West Manor, Patterson Grain Terminal, and countless other homes throughout the community.  Bob loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren, gardening as well as watching and feeding the birds in his yard.  In his younger years he loved to hunt and fish.  He will be missed dearly by his family and those who loved him, and his memory will be carried on in their hearts.  Arrangements entrusted to Warren's Funeral Home.
