Bill Bestrop

Bill “Shorty” Bestrop was born February 25, 1956, and passed away November 24, 2025, at the age of 69. 

He spent his life working on the farm, alongside his father and brother George. In later years, his nephew Jeff and great nephew Colby joined them on the farm.

As he got older, the only time you would see him off the farm was if you were lucky enough to catch him at the post office getting mail, and on his way to a bull sale. 

He was predeceased by his parents Bernie and Mary, his brother George, brother-in-law Donny, and sister Linda (Dutchie). 

He is survived by his sister Betty (Art), her son Randy (Kat), and family; sister-in-law Jackie, her son Jeff (Carly), and family; and daughter Kristen; nephew Mike (Chelsea), and family; nephew Matt (Lindsay), and family.
