Betty Ann Cobler, age 84, of Swift Current, Saskatchewan, and formerly of Stewart Valley, Saskatchewan, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2024, at Clover House, with the comforting presence of her family by her side.
The graveside service will be held on Friday, July 19, 2024, at 11:00 am from Memory Garden's Cemetery, with Reverend Ken Schrag officiating.
Left to cherish her memory are her children Cindy Cobler, Rodger Cobler, and Bonnie (Robbie) Donaldson. Grandchildren: Alicia (Coty) Smith, Michael Cobler, Starlene (Brent) Belanger, Diana Donaldson (Jason Elder), Shane Donaldson, and Desi Rae (Daniel) Fox. Great- Grandchildren: Broden, Ella-Gail, Dilon, Elyse, Merissa, Liandri, Kirkland, Zoe, Ryder, Bryden, Burton, and Tessa. Sisters: Adelaine, Linda, and Edith. As well as many nieces and nephews.
Betty was predeceased by her parents, Paul and Anne Lodoen, husband Myron Cobler, daughter Kathy McGowan, grandson Alex Cobler-Busse, and great-grandson Ethan Donaldson Elder.
Betty was born on July 30, 1939, and grew up on the family farm. She attended Fair Hills School. Betty married Myron Cobler on May 25, 1956, at the First United Church in Swift Current. They lived and farmed their land for over 50 years, and this is also where they raised their four children: Cindy, Rodger, Bonnie, and Kathy.
She was a member of the U.C.W, Stewart Valley Seniors Centre, and Scandinavian Club. For several years, she volunteered at many events in the Stewart Valley and Swift Current area.
The family would like to thank the staff of Swift Current Home Care, Cypress Regional Hospital, Clover House, and Dr. Miranda Flora for all the excellent care Betty received.

Following the interment, please join the family for refreshments and a time of sharing at the K Motel Restaurant. (Please park on the west side of the K Motel)
