Arthur Wright

Wright, Arthur James age 65 years, of Aneroid, Saskatchewan, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, October 30, 2021.  The Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Aneroid Hall.  Please note a light lunch will be served.  Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions the hall requires those in attendance to wear a mask, and have both vaccinations.  The interment will take place at a later date.  Arthur is survived by his partner of 27 years, Carla Hunter, and her son Josh; sons: Barret (Shawneen) and their children Alayna and Orin, Jared (Morgan); and their mother Torie Wright; sisters: Shirley (Claude) Picray, Linda (Len) Minor; brother Ronald; a niece, and numerous nephews, and cousins.  He was predeceased by his father Robert "Pete" Wright; mother Cecile Wright (Larocque); sister Irene Boyd; and a very special uncle and aunt Harold and Armande Crisp.  Arthur was born on February 29, 1956 in Ponteix, Saskatchewan, and attended school in Aneroid, Saskatchewan. He returned to Aneroid in 1989 to the family farm, achieving his dream of building his highly respected Red Angus herd and passing a third generation operation to his son Barret.  In 2011 he received the Century Family farm recognition for the Wright family.  He was so proud of both son's accomplishments and especially thankful for the time spent enjoying his two grandkids.  In lieu of flowers donations to the Swift Current S.P.C.A., Box 1163, Swift Current, Saskatchewan S9H 3X3; or to Diabetes Canada - Saskatchewan Branch, Regional Leadership Centre South, 917A Albert St, Regina, Saskatchewan, S4R 2P6.  Arrangements entrusted to Warren's Funeral Home.
