Arthur (Art) Friesen was born on Aug 25, 1937, and passed away December 3, 2025, at the age of 88. Art was raised and attended school in Swift Current. He worked several jobs but spent most of his adult life working as a mechanic at the south side Coop until retirement.
Art enjoyed music and was an avid photographer. Taking pictures of trains and capturing family moments is where he liked to spend his spare time.
Art is survived by his soul mate Marjorie Steinhauer; her children: Randy Steinhauer, Norma Oulds (Ron); nieces and nephews: Terry Works, Duane Works, Steven Works, Verna Kish (Colin), Beth Harris, Bonnie Lingenfelter (Tim), Brenda Eben (Dennis); and many great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents George and Elizabeth; brother Larry; sisters: Jean and Frances; brothers in law: Leo, Bert, Calvin; and numerous aunts and uncles.
