Annie Speir Obituary

Speir, Annie Rosa passed away peacefully at The Meadows, March 6, 2020, surrounded by her family. Predeceased by her loving husband Jim, infant son Ward, brother Leslie, and sisters Gladys, Betty and Eva. Remembering Granny is Debora, Josh, Wes, Sarah, Tyrel and Hannah. Also survived by brother Alex Schneider and sister Mary Rempel, numerous nieces and nephews and their families. Born December 25, 1936 to Joseph and Mary Schneider of the Tuberose district, the sixth of seven children. The family farm located at the Clearwater Lake, meant schooling at Coteau Hills, Beach View and Kyle Comprehensive. Annie married Jim Speir of Lacadena, August 1956, eventually purchasing the family farm, in the Success area, in 1968. They raised their family, farmed and ranched, being there for many years. It was October 2011 when Annie needed special care and she began residing at the Pioneer Lodge continuing to The Meadows.  The family is grateful for the quality of care that Annie received during her 8 years.
