Annette Martin

Annette Marie Aurore (nee Perrault) Martin, age 67, of Ponteix, passed away peacefully on Thursday June 24, 2021 at Foyer St. Joseph Nursing Home, after a long 3 years fight with Cancer.  Cherishing her memories are her husband Ronald Martin of 47 years;  Children:  Katherine Martin, Rhonda Martin, Louis (Renee Evans) Martin; Grandchildren: Shayla Belsher, Skylar Belsher, Dakota Martin-Kiss (Dakota McFadyen), Westin Kiss, Lexie Martin, Sophie Martin, Deklan Martin; Siblings: Rosaire (Terri) Perrault, Irene (Paul) Picray, Helene (Tom Williamson) Perrault, Roger (Alice) Perrault, Robert Perrault (Tracy Emmerson), Roland Perrault, Marianne (Michel) Bouvier and Alain (Brenda) Perrault and Numerous Others.  She was predeceased by her parents: Lucille (nee Forget) Perrault (2021) and Paul Perrault (2006).
Born in Ponteix on December 4, 1953.  She attended Ponteix School till her Grade 11 year, where she transferred to Swift Current Comprehensive School to finish off her 11 and 12.  While there she also took a secretarial course.
She held many jobs in Ponteix, such as receptionist (20+ years) with Dr. Baretto, part time with her Mom - Lucille at the Sewing Centre and Variety Store, Ponteix Dollar store and fulltime farmer's wife and mother to her 3 children.
Her moto for living was Live, Laugh, Love.  She completed these words everyday.  LIVE Life to the fullest.  Live with a positive attitude.  Live a happy Life.   LOVE.   Love your Family.  Love your neighbour.  Love everyone equally. LAUGH Make every day a positive day.  She was not a practical joker but would like a good laugh.  She loved spending her time outdoors tending to her many flower and vegetable gardens, coffee with the ladies, reading her many magazines, watching tv and enjoying the great outdoors.
Annette volunteered many hours and years to the Ladies of the Parish in Ponteix, making meals for the many events or assisting with the clothes sale each year.
She will be missed by many that knew her.  Her kind warm spirit will always be present in the memories we have.  She lost a battle, but she showed us how to fight a good fight and stay positive to the ending. She was a fighter to the bitter end and gave everyone a good laugh in the last few days. 
A Prayer Service was held Thursday July 1, 2021 at 7:00 pm from Notre Dame d'Auvergne Roman Catholic Church. The Funeral Mass took place Friday July 2, 2021 at 11:00 am from Notre Dame d'Auvergne Roman Catholic Church with Rev. Msgr. Reymundo Asis officiating. The Interment Service took place at Notre Dame d'Auvergne Catholic Cemetery. In Annette's memory, memorial donations may be made to the Foyer St. Joseph Nursing Home, P.O.
