GRAY, Amanda Marie (nee Huxted) 40 years of Swift Current, Saskatchewan passed away suddenly on January 19, 2022 at home. Amanada is survived by her husband Curtis, and children Tanner and Erin; parents David (Linda) and Cathy; brother David (Lise) and their children Sydney, Tyson, Ivy, Jaden, Jasper; sister Heidi (Trevor) Berggren and their children Kaitlyn, Jaycee, Drayden; sister Heather (Heath) Winquist and their children Hunter, Hailee, Heatyn, Hardy; brother Tyler Laybourne and his children Toby, and Ben. Her in-laws Debbie and Curtis Westgard; sister-in-law Laurie Selvig (Brad) and their children Darcy (Sydney) and Jesse; step-in-law Cody (Jen) Westgard and their children Bethany and Ryleigh; Becky (Ryan) Johnson and their children Rowen and Layla; Clayton (Amanda) Westgard and their children Nevaeh, Shagrath, Sophie, and Sihlaa. She was predeceased by her sister Sarah; grandparents Darlene and Gordon Huxted; John Schielbelbein; father-in-law Wayne Gray; aunt Carol Hilgendorf; Uncle Miles Huxted. Amanda was born on October 17, 1981 in Swift Current, Saskatchewan. She attended school briefly in Swift Current before the family moved to Success, Saskatchewan and attended school in Success from grad 1 to 9, then the Comprehensive High School, and finishing at Great Plains College completing her Care Aide in 2001. She was then employed at the Palliser Regional Care Center until its closing, and then to The Meadows until her passing. She also worked at the Herbert Care Center and Southwest Homes. Amanda met Curtis in 1996 and they married in 2002. They welcomed a son Tanner David Wayne on July 20, 2004, followed by a daughter Erin Marie on July 11, 2007. Amanda had a great zest for life touching everyone she met giving them all a little piece of her heart. Her love for her family, for family gatherings, her work family, and her residents was evident. You will not come across anybody who she has met that will not have a fond memory of her. Donation to Amanda's children's education fund would be appreciated by the family.
