Albert "Gary" Haakenson Obituary

We are saddened to announce the passing of our brother Gary Haakenson on January 19, 2021 at the Gull Lake Care Centre. He was born on November 8, 1939 to parents Harold and Muriel Haakenson. He is survived by his daughters Eileen and Tina; granddaughter Ashley and her children; brothers Tom (Doreen), Glenn (Edith), John (Linda) and Alf (Maureen); sisters Joyce (Gord) McCrea, Marg Cherniawsky, Jean Haakenson, Irene (Art) Scott and Blanda (John) Pribyl; sister-in-law Sandra Haakenson and friend Armand; brother-in-law Fred Wirsta; and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his infant daughter Trina; wife Dorothy; brother Murray; sister Audrey (Hank) Neustaeter; sister Paula Wirsta; sister-in-law May Haakenson; brothers-in-law Lou Cherniawsky and Ivan Reid. He will be sadly missed by everybody. A private family interment service will take place at a later date. Donation's in Gary's memory may be made to the Gull Lake Special Care Auxiliary P.O.
