Robert Gillam

Gillam: Robert Hiram Gillam passed away peacefully to be with the Lord on January 13, 2019 at the age of 68 years old after a lengthly battle with cancer. Bob was born in Winnipeg M.B. and also lived in Brandon M.B., Portage La Prairie M.B. and settled in Swift Current. He worked most of his life in the pipeline industry. While working on the Banister pipeline job in Swift Current in 1981, Bob met and later married Patricia on Boxing Day in 1986. Robert is survived by his wife Patricia Gillam (nee: Ferguson), his oldest son Christopher (Megan) Gillam, his youngest son Dustin Gillam, his grandsons Isaak Gillam, Matthew Gillam, and Lucas Gillam, his step granddaughters Rihana Laking and Nyla Laking, his mother in law Carol Ferguson (nee: Loftsgard), his brother Wayne Gillam, his sister Lynda (Bob) Kimball, his brother in law Michael (Hilda) Ferguson and numerous nephews and nieces. Bob is predeceased by his parents Howard Gillam and Geraldine Gillam (nee: Moyse), father in law David Ferguson and brother in law Ricky Ferguson. The family would like to offer our sincere thanks and gratitude to the amazing staff at Clover House and The Meadows Long Term Care and also to the doctors from Associate Family Physicians Clinic who showed such compassion to myself and my husband Robert.
