Pete Teichroeb

TEICHROEB: Peter age 86 of Swift Current, SK passed away on March 25, 2019. The memorial service was held on Tuesday April 16, 2019 from First United Church with Reverend Annette Taylor officiating. The pianist was Joan Williamson and the honor guard was by the Swift Current Shriners and Masons. The interment service was held from Memory Gardens Cemetery. Peter is survived by his sons Lee and Jason as well as many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his wife Rose; parents John and Elizabeth Teichroeb; sister Marie Coltart; and brother Dan Teichroeb. Peter went to a small country school near McMahon, SK. He worked as a plumber for Co-op, Dual Plumbing and Barzel Boiler Service. He was a member of the Shriners and enjoyed playing the drum in the Shriners Band. Peter enjoyed fishing, golfing and playing horse shoes. He was a super fan of Roughriders Football and loved to spend time at the Lac Pelletier campsite. He also loved to dance and made a great team with Rose. His boys were everything to him. After Rose passed he tried his utmost to take care of them on his own. After suffering a devastating injury it was best to follow his boys to the Palliser and then to the Meadows. Donation in Peter's memory may be made to Southwest Abilities Centre 1551 N.
