CASSIDY: Lawrence Herbert age 82 of Swift Current, SK passed away on March 26, 2019 at The Meadows. A memorial service was held on Friday, April 12, 2019 from Walker Place with Reverend Bob Cappelle officiating. Lawrence is survived by his wife Darlene; daughter Barbara (Tom) Kehoe and their children Sabrina (Darren Spiker), Jolene (Dallas Allan and daughters) and Tyson; son Kelly (Darla) Cassidy and their children Jamie and Ashley; daughter Shivaun Cassidy (Brent Toth) and their children Jaxon and Alex; great grandchildren Nolan, Mackinley, Ben, Ethan and Amelia; sister Shirley Cassidy; sisters and brothers-in-law Collen Woolsey, Gordon and Carol Campbell, Shirley Faber, Don and Pat Campbell, Dianne and Ken Hymers, Beverly and Nando Ruggeri and Evelyn Cassidy; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins including his special cousin Orville Cassidy and his aunt Mabel (Wally) Wall. Lawrence was predeceased by his parents Herbert and Pauline Cassidy; parents-in-law Colin and Hannah Campbell; brother Lloyd Cassidy; and brothers-in-law Garth Campbell, Larry Faber and Jim Woolsey. Lawrence was a hard worker who operated several successful business until his retirement. After he retired, he enjoyed driving for National-Spar part time. Lawrence's special interests were fishing, reading and carpentry. He will be fondly remembered by his family for his sense of humor, kind heart, his love of country music which his family will continue to enjoy, and fishing at Lac Pelletier.
