Kenneth Sperling Obituary

SPERLING: Kenneth Reginald age 79 of Cabri, SK passed away on August 5, 2019 at the Meadows. Kenneth is survived by his sister-in-law Kay Ogg; brother-in-law Al Dixon; nieces and nephews Neil, Vonda, Sheila, Jackie and Caroline; and cousins. He is predeceased by his parents James and Elizabeth Sperling; brother James Sperling; and sister Ina Dixon. Ken was born in Swift Current, SK and was raised in Waldeck, SK. Ken began his working career in British Columbia in the pulp mill industry, then moved to the oil industry which took him around the world. Ken worked in Saudi Arabia, South America and Texas. Ken completed his working career with 15 years at the Cypress Health Region. Ken loved all animals, especially his two parrots Baby and Tiko, and his German Shepard Smokey. Ken enjoyed gardening, and made the best bread and butter pickles. He enjoyed spending time with friends and having fun. Ken will be deeply missed by all those that know and loved him. A heart felt thank you to the Prairie Health Care Centre staff for the special care you provided to Ken over that last year.
