Kenneth Johnston Obituary

With sadness, we announce the passing of Kenneth John Johnston (Kenny) on February 27, 2019, in a tragic two trailer accidental fire, along with Darlene Morrow, who lived in the west second trailer. Our sympathy to Darlene Morrow's grown children, Levon, Suzanne and Kim and their families. Darlene will be have her interment in Maple Creek. Kenny worked for the City of Swift Current for a few years before deciding that country life was what he enjoyed and all that goes with it. Kenny was an excellent mechanic and could repair any vehicle or machinery. He was a good cook and the coffee pot was always on. Kenny was very kind and would help anybody and that sometimes got him into some predicaments when he was young. God gave Kenny his own uniqueness and he liked to joke around. Thanks to everyone that shared his life and came to visit. Kenny leaves to mourn his passing, brother Calvin Johnston, sister Carol (Gary Overli; nieces Christie (Pastor Richie) Bouthillier and family, Cherise (Darren) Antonio and family, Carlee (Timo) Annala and family and aunts, uncle, cousins and friends. Kenny was predeceased by his parents Wellesley and Bertie Johnston and his brother Lawrence. Kenny was laid to rest in the family plot at Memory Gardens Cemetery. "However, as it is written, No eye has seen, No ear has heard, No mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him. 1 Corinthians 2:9. In Kenny's memory, memorial donation may be made to the Apostolic Church of Pent, 119-2340 Pegasus Way N.E., Calgary, Alberta, T2E 8MJ, Project 520 Pastor Bouthillier.  Warren's Funeral Home were entrusted with the arrangements.
