Keith Stangland

The family of the late Keith Stangland, of Swift Current, SK wishes to inform you of his sudden passing on June 5, 2019 at the Swift Current Cypress Regional Hospital. Keith was born on June 13, 1962 in the Herbert Hospital. He went to school in Neidpath and then Swift Current. At an early age he showed an interest in cooking. So when he entered the workforce he worked in the Modern Restaurant as a cook, moved to Regina and then Moose Jaw working at various restaurants until he got a job cooking at 15 Wing Air Base. He was very proud of this job and spoke of it often. Due to health reasons Keith moved back to Swift Current to live until the time of his passing. Keith is survived by his mother Shirley Stangland; brother Gene (Angela) Stangland and their children Dexter and Kat Stangland (Chloe and Jaxon), Cody Stangland (Shanna Yu and Bella), Mike and Dakota Tadjdeh (Blakely); sisters Kathy (Gerald) Watson, sister Lana Stangland and Earl Hammond (Bailey and Shanna Empey); aunts and uncles Sharon (Mervin) Stanley, Delores (Ray) Banks, Art Boehm; and numerous cousins. Keith is predeceased by his father Jerry Stangland; grandparents Walter and Sophie Hessler and Herman and Evelyn Stangland. The memorial was held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 14, 2019 from St. Olaf Lutheran Church with Pastor Linda Hall officiating. The interment service was held from Mount Pleasant Burial Park in Swift Current, SK.
