Katherine Wedhorn

Wedhorn, Katherine (Kathy) age 80 of Swift Current, Sk, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at The Meadows. The Funeral service will be held at 2 pm, Saturday, April 13, 2019 at Warrens Funeral Chapel. The readers will be her Granddaughters and a close friend. The interment service will be held at Memory Gardens Cemetery. The Pallbearers will be her Grandsons. Honorary Pallbearers are all that shared in her life. She is survived by her children: Darlene (Jeff) Kizuik, Sherrie (Ken Hamel) Wedhorn, Carol (Darrel)Greuel, Gerry (Bridget)Wedhorn, and Wendy (Eldon) Wedhorn-Campbell; Grandchildren:  Tyler (Ashley) Kizuik, Jessica (Jesse Carlston) Kizuik, James Hamel, Laura Hamel, Cory (Cheryl Vanloon) Greuel, Cody (Koralee Linquist) Greuel, Nevada (Dylan Herron) Greuel, Dylan Wedhorn, Nathan Wedhorn, Ariel Campbell, Lisa (Kelsey Beisel) Campbell, Shelby (Jordan Wozniak) Campbell, James Campbell; and Brother Martin (Josie) Koshman and numerous nieces and nephews. Kathy was predeceased by her husband Elvin Wedhorn (1995), Father Steve Koshman (1980), Mother Mary Koshman(2010), Father-in-law Fred Wedhorn(1976), and  Mother-in-law Annie Wedhorn(1997). She was born in Insinger on November 17, 1938. She married Elvin Wedhorn on November 16, 1957. She was employed at numerous restaurants as a cook/baker. Kathy was a Social Butterfly. She enjoyed baking, cooking and hosting gatherings for family and friends. She always enjoyed a good game of cards and going for coffee. Kathy will be sadly but fondly remembered by family and friends.
