Harvey Wiebe

Harvey Melvin Floyd Wiebe, age 70, of Swift Current, Sk. passed away September 14, 2019 at his home. The Funeral Service was held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, September 24, 2019 from First United Church with Reverend Annette Taylor officiating. The Organist was Patty McCleary. The Usher were Brian Unger, Norman Unger and members of the Eliminators Car Club. The Honorary Pallbearers were Florence and Garry Wilson. The Pallbearers were members of the Eliminators Car Club. An Honor Guard was formed by members of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch # 56, Swift Current. The Interment Service was held at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Veterans Plot. Harvey is survived by his sisters, Linda Wiebe and Debra (Pete) Psiurski; nephew Wesley Wiebe; nieces Shawnee (Jasen) Hoffman, Kimberley Psiurski and Sarah Psiurski. He was predeceased by his parents Bill and Barbara Wiebe and his grandparents. Harvey was born in Swift Current, SK on January 28, 1949. He attended school in Swift Current and then joined the Armed Forces, serving for 24 years. After his discharged Harvey work for himself as a Finishing Carpenter. He was a long time member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch # 56 and also the Eliminators Car Club in Swift Current. He enjoyed woodworking, classic cars and camping and he will be missed by all who knew him.
