Elaine Larson

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Iris Elaine Larson (nee Suehwold) on July 12, 2019. Elaine was born on December 15, 1945 to Wilbert and Elise Suehwold. Elaine is predeceased by her husband Jim Eckert; her mother Elise Suehwold; her father Wilbert Suehwold; her brother-in-law Lyle Brewster; and her sister baby-girl Suehwold. Those left behind are her sister Carol (John) Bandurchin; her brother Dennis (Bernice) Suehwold; her sister Connie Webster, her brother Tony (Rose Marie) Suehwold; 9 nieces and nephews; and 9 great nieces and nephews. We wish to thank Elaine's friends Linda Valincourt, Connie Farrow and her children Arlen, Roderick and Madeline. As well, a thank you to her doctor Dr. Kosroski who has cared for her for the past 20 years, and all of the Gull Lake Special Care Home nurses and staff. The graveside service was held at Gull Lake Community Cemetery, officiated by Worship Leader, Elaine Little at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, July 17, 2019. A tea and gathering to follow from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Senior Citizens Centre, 3376 Rutland St. Gull Lake, SK. The pallbearers were Marcel Baht, Carl Carlson, Jonathan Suehwold, Justin Suehwold, and Les Yufrum. A eulogy was read by Carl Carlson and a poem that was chosen by Elaine was read by Bernice Suehwold. Elaine was our best friend. Elaine, we will miss your encouraging and supportive attitude, quick wit and uncanny sense of humor. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to any Humane Society of your choosing.
