Cynthia Steinley Obituary

We would like to announce the passing of Cynthia (Cindy) Steinley on January 8, 2020 after a 15 month battle with pancreatic cancer. As per Cindy's request a come and go tea was held on Saturday, January 18, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. from the Rush Lake Community Hall in Rush Lake, SK. the interment service will take place at a later date from Christ Lutheran Cemetery in Prairie View, SK. Cindy was born on October 20, 1967 to John and Davena Gooding of Central Butte, SK. She received her early education in Central Butte and then in Moose Jaw, SK where she completed high school. She started working in the health care field in Moose Jaw. This is where a co-worker introduced her to her future husband Craig. She was always a bubbly happy person that never spoke ill of anyone. Craig and Cindy were married in 1989 and in 1990 started their family. They moved back to Rush Lake, SK in 1990 where she enjoyed helping on the farm. Her children were her world until her grandchildren entered the picture, then everything centered around them. Cindy is survived by her husband Craig; son Kyle and his wife Kaylie and their boys Cole and Case; her daughter Brittany and her fiancé Cody; sisters Debbie (Jim) Johnson and Pasty (Earl) Leadbeater; brother Grant Gooding; parents-in-law Glen and Frances Steinley; brother-in-law Blake Steinley (Leanne); sister-in-law Lana (Todd) Letkeman; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents John and Davena Gooding. Donations in Cindy's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society 1910 McIntyre Street Regina, SK S4P 2R3 or to a charity of the donor's choice.
