Alfred "Jim" James Bull

BULL: Alfred "Jim" James Bull passed away July 7th 2010 with his family at his side at the age of 86 years. Jim was born June 3rd, 1924 at Swan River, Manitoba and was the 2nd of 4 children of his parents Alfred and Emily (Robinson) Bull. The family moved to Saskatoon, Sk when Jim was 15 years old. In the following year, 1942, he joined the Navy and served overseas until 1945. It was shortly after his return home that he met the love of his life, Theresa Nakoneczny. They were married February 23rd, 1946 at Prince Albert, SK, where they took up residence. Jim worked as an engineer for CP Rail until retirement after 43 years (1984). He was an avid fan and supporter of the Prince Albert Raiders until he and Theresa moved to Swift Current, SK to be closer to their only son and his family in 2008. He was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion and the Army and Navy for over 60 years. He leaves behind to mourn his loss his wife and partner of 64 years. Theresa and their only child, Jim and daughter-in-law Debbie (Hinz). He will also be sorrowfully missed by his 4 grandsons and their families, James & his partner, Darnelle Bahniuck (Swift Current), Ryan & Charise (Weinberger) (Swift Current), Stephen & Diane (Ottenbreit)(Revelstoke, B.C,) and Graeme and his partner, Amber Kotzer (Saskatoon, SK).  He also leaves behind his great grandchildren: Terrance, James, Christopher, Lane, Mackenzie, Brody, Xavier, Cecilia and Kairi. His sisters: Lillian Taylor(Saskatoon, SK) and Sylvia (Larry) Jmaiff (Grand Forks B.C,) and his sister-in-law Ann Bull, (Naniamo, BC) and their families are also left to mourn his loss. He was predeceased by his mother & father, Alfred & Emily Bull, his mother and father-in-law, James & Mary (Mamczac) Nakoneczny, his brother Clifford Bull, brother-in-law Harry Taylor and his daughter, Debra Lynn Bull (in infancy). A private, family graveside celebration of his life, will be a a later date. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by his family.
