At Warren's Funeral Home, we feel that every family should have an opportunity to create a funeral service that fulfils their unique needs. In this spirit, we are ready to assist in arranging the services you desire, in the price range you prefer.

We are proud of our heritage as an independent family and locally owned funeral home, providing the highest quality services and facilities. Beyond this, it is very important to us that at all times our offerings; descriptions and prices are easy to understand.

Our goal is to faithfully serve your needs, regardless of the type of service you select. After all, your family deserves nothing less. This list acts as a basis for understanding all the services we can provide for our families.

The Goods and Services listed are those we can provide to our client families. You may choose only the items you require. There are a number of funeral packages or plans to consider. These packages range from the Traditional Funeral to the simplest Immediate Care arrangement. There are definite advantages in selecting a plan that specifically addresses the type of service you wish. However, any funeral arrangements you select will include a charge for basic services. Our Funeral Director will discuss the type of service appropriate for you.


Our professional services includes basic services provided to each family we serve: professional expertise of a licensed Funeral Director and staff including, but is not limited to: responding to the initial request for service and a family's needs 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, our expenses such as professional licensing, legal and accounting fees, insurance, maintenance, taxes, equipment, inventory, record keeping, secretarial and administrative services, guardianship and shelter of the deceased until final disposition, preparing and filling of necessary authorization forms and permits; recording vital statistics, coordination of all funeral arrangements including the cemetery or crematorium. Receive, prepare and forward obituary material to newspapers and radio.

This plan includes complete arrangements, supervision and direction of services.

Meet with the family to make arrangements and complete an itemized cost agreement. Oversee all aspects of services, coordination of plans for cremation or burial. Complete the Provincial Death Registration; obtain the medical information from the physician or coroner. File completed and signed Death Registration with the registrar Vital Statistics and obtains a disposition permit, complete and file forms fro cremation. Provide forms, documents and applications such as: Veterans/Last Post burial grant, transportation documents as applicable, cemetery application for burial, Monument and memorial inscription orders, Canada Pension Plan Death and Survivors Benefits, Certified Death Certificate for CPP and Funeral Director's Proof of Death Certificates. Answer all telephone calls; provide funeral information to family, friends, lodge members, business associates and florists.

The authorized decision maker or his/her designate prior to cremation as required by Provincial Statute, must view the deceased for the purpose of identification. The Funeral Director will coordinate this process. In addition to the required viewing for identification purposes, upon request, our Funeral Home is willing to provide a brief time for family and friends other than the authorized decision maker prior to the formal disposition. Provide personal and professional care of the deceased with dignity and respect while the coordination of plans is completed. Maintain universal precautions through hygienic care of the deceased to ensure protection to personnel and the public.

(A fee per day may be charged for the storage facility if final disposition cannot take place within 48 hrs following the death).


Our Funeral Home provides a complete facility to respond to a family's needs 365 days a year. It includes all the necessary equipment to take care of many service options requested by the families we serve. Proportionate sharing of overhead expenses relative to our funeral home such as insurance, utility costs, parking and grounds, maintenance, taxes, office equipment and furnishings. Use of the embalming and preparation area, visitation rooms, offices and related office equipment, a facility for the shelter and guardianship of the deceased.

A Graveside Service of Committal and Dedication is often a considered option. Coordination of this service can be made with the Funeral Director and normally includes: arranging with the minister, transportation of the cremated remains, the Funeral Director and Clergy, floral tributes and podiums.

  • Vehicle for transfer of the remains from the place of death within 100 km of our Funeral Home.
  • Vehicle for transfer from our Funeral Home to Crematorium.
  • Funeral coach for service at cemetery if disposition is burial.
  • Limousines for Clergy, Pall Bearers, and family as arranged.


  • Casket selection, urn selection, urn outer container vault
  • A container for remains to be transported to crematorium is mandatory
  • Our container is wooden or corrigated cardboard with a plastic sealing liner for hygienic purposes.
